Oh yes.. she's learning, it's.. well, reminding!

....but only if I really need it...

Oh that will be useful, she will shine like a blazing star, they cannot ignore her then.

And... her eyes flicker with a copper light, and then dim.

A shudder and a deep breath, and she stares at the pan clutched in her white-knuckled hand.

"...Oh."

"How goes, babe?" Olgar says

A slow smile at the pan. "Oh, yes...."

He's not in the room with her but outside the door.

Then she turns at Olgar's voice, still smiling, and calls out. "Honey...come here." It's an invitation...sort of.

Well, at that he opens the door, "Sylvi's still having a ball at the farm and texted she might stay over. I figure if that's okay with you..." He comes in "Then no skin off my nose"

Her eyebrows are up. "You already told her yes?"

"Nope...like I said, if it's okay with you.. haven't texted back yet. " He holds the phone up "I think we should let her have it, but if there's something she's skimped on chore wise"

That gets him a very warm smile indeed. "You may tell her yes." She still holds a pan in her hand.

"Copper? that work? " He texts quickly, and hangs up "Okay. We're 'the best'" a chuckle

"Oh, it works very, very well." Her voice is slow and low, sultry. "And...we are. The best, that is. And tonight...while our daughter is away...I am declaring that we are taking a day off. Sally Mae and Brogan will take over until tomorrow."

"Yeah?" he slides an arm aaround her waist, "I'm liking where this is going. What, may one ask, got you in this mood, and where can I subscribe?" A kiss below her right ear.

"Mmm....a woman needs some secrets, doesn't she?" She tilts her head to allow the kiss. "I'm thinking...you know that little motel down the shore? That one with the beach cabins? And that dive bar nearby?"

A raised brow "Well, yeah, short notice but I bet they've got an opening. The bar too? I should get on my dancing boots huh."

"Mmmmm....but...don't bother with a swim suit. I hear it's going to be a very, very warm night, and..." she whispers against his ear "...I haven't been skinny-dipping in ages...."

"Well... huh..." He knows her, has seen her like this before. He used to push for it, until he learned how much he loved her in either court. Or maybe he's imagining what it is..either his wife needs an escort in case something is going wrong, and who better than He? Or she is dandy, and she needs her man, and that position is a lock, thank a kindly dreaming "Well, i have never tired of some views by the water, that's for sure. You want to pack the gear or make the reservations?" A kiss

"You pack. Pick what you want me to wear...but I'd better like it," she adds the warning with a teasing tone. "I'll call the place."

And she claims another kiss, this one very promising.

VERY Promising "I think you'll like it, I know you'll love what I do to get you out of it" And he moves to their room to pack

She watches him go into their room, enjoying the view as he goes, then takes out her phone. A quick text to Sally Mae and Brogan: You're on duty as of now until I return tomorrow afternoon.

Respones are positive and quick. Which is..satisfying. Yes, having a squire is handy

Then she calls the motel, a place with the kind of reputation teens snicker about on Monday mornings. "Yes, I need to book a room. For tonight. Yes, we're on our way right now." Pause. "Oh, well, no...I'm sure you can find something. Please...try again." Her warmest tone, the one she knows can melt ice at 20 paces.

And she knows not only how to get it, but how to lower the price without losing quality. Firmness and velvet in equal measure, she gets what she wants.

No, better, she gets what she deserves.

And in almost no time. "....yes, that's lovely. I look forward to seeing you in a bit."

And Olgar comes out, redressed, and carrying the load. She's a troll ,she could carry it easily herself, but right now, it might feel nice to have someone else do the lifting. "Reservations made? Ready to go?"

"I'll be right there. Let's take the bikes."

"WEll, hot damn" He grabs the helmets too.

Oh, she loves that he's giving her the response she wants. He wants her, she knows it, and that's delicious. As he goes outside to load up the gear, she puts the pan away...not in the shelf it was in before, but on a high shelf, far back, in a cabinet that she can lock...and does.

And a few moments later, she's striding out to join him. She gives him a hungry look as she mounts her bike, and soon the engine is revving loudly.

He eyes the bike she's on "I don't blame you, pal. I make a lot of noises when her legs are around me too." And he starts his own... and off they go

Her laugh blends with the roar of the motor as they take off down the road and into the night.

And inside a high shelf, in a locked cabinet, a copper frying pan glistens. As if pleased. Things are going well, but it has so many more lessons yet. When the pupil is ready.
