"You're better at magic stuff than I am."

"Not by much, but thanks." She plucks one of the teeth from Dagmar's palm and holds it up, turning it like a gemstone in the light.

It's got an almost stone like quality to it.

"I wonder how she got'm..."

"Huh." She puts in the palm of her other hand, and then points sternly at it. "You are required to tell the tooth, the whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth!" she whispers firmly, poking her finger on the last phrase to pass a bit of glamour into the bunk for Willow Whisper.

Snerk!

A wink to Dagmar as the glamour coils.

The dross flickers.. and under the cantrip it gains a bit of gummy wetness to its luster.

Ready to answer questions

A bit of a dubious look...the gumminess isn't particularly appealing...but she whispers, "How did Widow Febland come to own you?"

"She took me out of the hen"

the tone has an unspoken 'duh' quality to it.

A wide-eyed look at Dagmar. "Uh...okay....so, do you have any powers?"

(That question is for the tooth.)

"you mean like... being dross? Ayup. Do you mean like superman? Not unless you use me to fuel superman cantrips" One can almost sense an eye roll.. except it doesn't have eyes.

"...Sassy."

Sylvi nods, then looks to Dagmar. "You get to choose a last question, if you want."

"Um. How long has she had you?"

It waits for Sylvi to repeat the question before it answers. If thats' what she wants to ask.

After a pause, Sylvi realizes her oversight. "Oh! Oh, yeah...how long has Widow Febland owned you?"

"Ever since she pulled me out of the hen's mouth! HA! " but then it seems the Dreaming decides the cantrip has had it's fill and it mumbles... "3 weeks... I'm one of the older teeth"

"Only three weeks?"

"That means...she must know where the hen is. A toothy hen. That'd be something to see."

"Agreed!"

A voice calls...

"Okay. Thank you, Toothy." Sylvi smirks at the sassy tooth and then hands it back to Dagmar. "I want to come with you to see this."

Then she turns at the voice.

"Sylvi... remember that room you were supposed to have clean YESTERDAY?" Olgar grunts "Your mom does."

"Oh, come on, it's summer vacation," she grumbles under her breath, then sighs before calling out, "Sorry, Dad! On my way!"

"Later, Dagmar. If you see her before I can go with you, tell me what a toothy hen looks like!" And she heads back inside to suffer through hard labor. *Gone*

And Dagmar is left alone with...

well, a hentooth

Jaymes can be heard talking to Vali.

"So she's doing better than she thinks she is.. Kyros or Winter, neither version is easy..."

"mmph" (proud note, but other wise 'roger that')

"I think she still wants to learn the sky craft stuff... kid loves Thor"

"mm hmm" (Well, of course!)

"And I think right now letting her learn at her own pace is best. I don't want her to discourage herself you know?" Vali says

"mmm" (He sees pros and cons to letting lessons go too slow)

"Ah..is there an opinion in there?" Vali asks.

Dag stays quiet, listening.

"She's good." A nod from Jaymes (My daughter is pretty damn awesome and i do have faith in her)

"Ah..yeah" Vali says a bit nonplused

Then Jaymes says "Thanks, Vali. " Then her father says "You ready to go home, Little Thunder?"

Vali missed subtext.

He has a problem with that sometimes it seems.

"Eh." (Aw, nickname!)
