A pattern of a great tree with the names of everyone on the lodge bound together, Brekke and Frank to the Center, then Jessica and Siv... then Jaymes and the others...
but pretty much everyone!
and the words "Family is Everything" written on it
It is incredibly comfy, a wrap yourself into it like a buritto and hibernate like material

Oh, that is a very-much-appreciated gift.

Gerd's gift to Brekke was an outfit that looks familiar, very, from some movie? Definitely fantasy clothing includes a cotton shirt, distressed faux leather jerkin, slim-cut trousers
faux leather belt that attached to a sword's scabbard distressed boots with lace-up detailing, fingerless glove, and highly-detailed faux leather jacket

Gerd will stare at her smiling

"I think it's all your size"

"I...." Brekke looks through the clothing. "This is a very...different look for me, Gerd. Ah...thank you. Where did you get the idea?"

"It's what Rangers wear," She says "Aren't you a ranger? Like Aragorn?"

Aragorn? Oh

Brekke blinks...then grins slightly. "I see. Gerd...mortal rangers are somewhat different, but...well...thank you very much."

"Merry Yule" she bounces off after a brief hug

Brekke returns the hug, and breathes a sigh of relief that Gerd doesn't demand an immediate fashion show.

Siv grins "You'll have to put it on sometime, mum. Will we all get to see, or just da?"

An eyebrow at Siv. "Does it have to become a double-entendre?"

Innocent look "Mmm?"

Suspicious look. "Hmmmmm...."

Olgar's gift honor her heritage.

And a wooden plaque which says, in Norwegian "The beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves" On one side, and on the other (if one prefers) "Whiners will be sent to Greenland"

Brekke absolutely is amused by the mug and the plaque. "Rover, you walk a dangerous path...but thank you."

"Welcome, Chief" Olgar says "Kerri for some reason said she would handle her own gift to you. Odd huh?"

Connor receives a collection of carved farm animals, and Gerd a group of wooden dolls with articulated arms and legs.

"Kerri is a wise woman," Brekke false-grumbles.

Gerd is agog.

Sally Mae ahems and offers hers up, "Vali told me about his plans, and that got me thinking, you remember that nocker boy who helped Colton's arm?" She hands the box over . When Brekke opens, it's an ornament, a disc of stained glass! One meant to resemble the Aurora Boreallis "Just hang it near the window if you want to use it for non holidays, should cast light right nice"

The gift is not listed as from the DeBukes, but rather just 'from Sally Mae'

"Oh...Sally Mae, that is lovely. Thank you."

"You and Hearth Kerri took me in, gave me a second home . I'm just glad to be a part of it" She smiles, and slips off

Tove and Torrin offer Music lessons, a chance to hone the skills she has (Singing), or learn to play a brand new instrument.

Which might surprise Brekke. How did they learn she already sang?

It is perhaps Dirk who surprises her the most. The boy brought a box, with dozens of feathers, hawk feathers, eagle feathers, owl feathers, some of them not native to North America. A crude note is with the box "Don't know if you have one of them headress wooo chief hats or not, or if you ate em for strength or what...but I know you like wild stuff so.. here's feathers to make something out of-Dirk"

It would appear she has the redcap's respect, as much as anyone can

but the ranger in her is alarmed this MEANS something

Forget cats, redcaps are devastating avian species....

She is surprised (and a bit intimidated) by the offer of lessons...but she accepts graciously and suggests they all discuss the idea further, as she's not sure what instrument she might consider.

The feathers are alarming, especially the eagle feathers and any others that might come from endangered species. She makes a point of finding out more...later.

Yes, that collection might just be a WEE bit illegal

The Wayburtons sent a fine collection of winterwines to the lodge in general.

Teaneck sends the Rivervale crew a few gifts, one gift however is a manila folder that says 'Subject: Siv Waveborn'. Siv's eyes get wide,but the folder is not for her but rather adressed to Brekke and Frank. the pages inside just say "Obviously spying on your daughter would be wrong, but perhaps if you nod sagely and point to the interior and whisper you can have a bit of fun with her- If you prefer not, better parents than I and I hope you like the other gifts' . they're a bit less fun imo"

Brekke reads the contents, frowns slightly, and passes them to Frank...but does not spill the beans. Yet.

Siv swallows "uhm.. mum..da? uh..you know, whatever is in there is probably outdated ..water under the bridge?"

"Outdated? You have lived here for less than a year, Siv. How could information be outdated so swiftly?"

"Wilder trolls mature quickly for their age?" a wince

A quiet moment. "You consider that a winning argument?"

"Not currently," A sigh "Look, the cheese flood was a mistake, but I was a witness to it, not a part of it. And as for the Count Hemlock impersonation contest, I didn't take part because I knew it would upset you if you thought i was mocking him but darn it, some parts of were fun to watch. And ...asfor Bancroft and I... it didn't go that far."
