Then a sudden notion. "Tiffany...is Siv how the Chieftain 'threw her voice'?"

Siv eats her apple, good way to hide expression, apple eatting

Tiffany says "It was yule, who can say?"

"Hmph. Siv, what do you mean by not being wanted?"

"Nothin," A munch "Just a figure of speech."

"Nonsense. All right... Siv, Tiffany's under the impression that she got banned from the Lodge on Samhain, for reasons she doesn't understand. Do you know anything about that?" Before the girl can answer, Kerri adds, "Keep in mind that if we don't figure this out here, I'll be taking the issue to your mother."

Siv takes a breath "Who remembers what happens on Samhain?"

Jaw tight, Kerri nods. "Fine. We've already established that, if she had been formally banned, all the members of the Lodge would know about it. Since I was never told, we can assume it was a mistake. Now...less formally...what have you got against Tiffany?" It's a blunt question. "Don't try to tell me 'nothing'...I'm not an idiot." Her own eyes a little dark at Siv's multiple evasions.

"I won't tell you anything, Hearth. Lest I break a trust. You can have my mother and father ground me for protecting them. I'm used to that. You can ban me yourself if you like.. maybe Jessica would take me in. You are Hearth, but I wll not betray somethings, nor endanger other people" Siv says

Tiffany puts a hand on The hearth's arm "Hey, stop, please. She can love me as much as she likes. Okay?"

The lodge door slams open, and slams closed again... Dagmar does not exactly make a soft entrance. She's wearing her new coat over a set of brightly-colored team sweats, and her sneakers squeak against the floor.

Tiffany looks to Siv "you're a terrible rotten no good kid... but my damsel means a lot to me. Either you believe I woudl bite him or you don't. But I'm not going to let it keep me from the pursuit if misery. So...glare at me all you want with your glowing eyes of glarity glaredom. I'm sticking around, and whether you believe this oh so honest pooka or not? IT's so not about klingons"

A blink. "Protecting them? From Tiffany?" Kerri's astounded by the seeming absurdity. "Siv, Tiffany is a friend of the Lodge and has been for a long time. And nobody is banning you from your parents' home. To suggest that is not worthy of you, because you know better." A touch of anger there. "I respect your need to keep a trust...but something does not make sense here, and I need your help to figure it out."

Dagmar can hear tense voices in the kitchen.

Siv blushes a little and turns away "Fine. TIffany visits. I apologize Tiffany for insulting you and making you feel bad. Can we just skip the part of me getting grounded or something already? Soemthings are best left be"

"Goooo the conquering Indians!" She busts into the kitchen. "Miss Kerri, Jaymes said I could ask for victory browni--...hi?"

And awkward, tense silence from the Hearth.

Siv looks like she's infront of a firing squad. Tiffany the pooka gal gives cautious wag at Dagmar

A breath. "Dagmar, will cookies do? And congratulations. I'll want to hear all about the game...but not just now." She nods her towards the cookie jar.

A soft whistle, dimming quickly. "O-kay then..."

Siv does say "Congrats on the team victory, Dagmar."

"It was a scrimmage, with Hills. But we still won..." She finds the cookie jar. "Hi Tiffany."

"Heyo blue shorts, gave them hell at the hills eh? " Tiffany smiles actually

Returning to the topic at hand, Kerri uses quiet, measured tones to say, "Unless your parents and I deem otherwise, Siv, Tiffany visits and is welcome to visit. If you won't share why you're angry at her, there's not much we can do to settle it."

Dag nods at Tiff, mouth full of snickerdoodle.

"Fine by me, " Siv says "Can I go now?"

Swallows. "Siv? Why are you being so weird?"

"Tis nothing, Dagmar. I was just apologizing to Tiffany and finishing this apple"

A snort. "Must be one salty apple, yo."

"mm? No." Siv says "it's fine."

Kerri looks from Siv to Tiffany, and sighs. "This doesn't feel at all resolved, but...Tiffany, I hope you still feel those flowers are in order."

Dagmar munches, more concerned about sugar acquisition than the fight.

Tiffany sighs a bit, but seems better than when she first came here. Perhaps what has been learned has helped her resolve a few things "A truck load of bluebells" SHe assures the Hearth "THanks. I know you're feeling like you got the plaid ribbon in the county fair, but for what it's worth? I needed the kick in my rompers. Thanks"

"Plaid ribbon? there are no plaid ribbons" Siv's brow knits

Kerri manages a grin and a nod. "Well, happy to provide, then. And...if I'm not mistaken, I think Vali went patrolling off near the beaver dam. You'll likely find him there if you go looking."

"That's pretty much the point, Siv." Kerri explains.

"The beaver dam?" Tiffany rises, "If that tramp thinks she can play with his affections again just because were on a break I'll have her wishing Aslan was coming. Pardon me, Hearth" A fist bump offered to Dagmar "Many condolences again for being awesome, Blueshorts"

A grin as Tiffany seems very much revived. "Go set things right." Then a more sober nod to Siv. "Thank you. I think we're done for now. Now, Dagmar...your game went well?"

"Yeah. Our first REAL game is in December, but with Thanksgiving, we don't have any other pre-season things before then..."

"I got to play in the second half AND I made two shots!"

Tiffany's tail does wag a lot at that news, "Seven with one blow? Bad ass. Decemeber huh? Maybe I'll get some time off for Independence day and see. Now, pardon me, I need to see a man about a beaver"

Siv shoots a bit of a frustrated look at Dagmar as she seems all chummy chummy with the pooka

Then Tiffany heads out

"What?"

"That's excellent, Dagmar. I bet Jaymes is proud. I'll be sure to make some victory brownies for later."

"Nothing" Siv says

"Awesome. Vic-tor-y." A sigh. "Siv, c'mon, what's wrong?"

She notes the exchange, and says, "Well, I believe Olgar should be coming in off trod-work soon. I think I'll meet him at the rath. 'Scuse me, girls." She heads out to the main hall, grabbing her coat and one or two of the dogs for a walk.

Edelweiss outsneaks her brother for top walking spot.

Siv shoots a vaguely guilty look at the Hearth "Yes, Hearth. Nice walk"
