Dirk looks at her, "You finally got cool folks and you worry about sending them away because they might not wanna come back?"

As if he's sparked something, wrong or right, deeper thoughts than he manages

A blink at Dirk, then a look back at Dagmar.

“No, so they don’t get in our way. Or try to save us and then OUR plan is spoiled.” But he goes quiet when Dirk gets insightful.

Softly. "I dunno."

"I don't either," Dirk says "Me? I couldn't get away from my bitch mom fast enough, but she's not badass like Jaymes or cool/hot like Tove so whatever..."

Sylvi watches her a moment, then shakes her head. "We don't send them away. And we don't go near the house."

“Agreed.” He adds. “Sorry. Bad idea.”

"Just want them safe. He's hurt both of them already."

A sigh. "Dagmar...what I was going to say before...there's a spot in the woods I know you go a lot, but I don't know who else here knows about it, and I don't want to just say it if they don't."

"No. Not there."

"Yeah...we're going to keep him from hurting us or our people anymore."

Sylvi looks like she's about to argue, but then nods. "Okay...fine. So...we're doing this at night, right?" Suddenly, that lighbulb look. "Oh! I've got it! They playground!"

Siv blinks "The..hey,no kids at that time yeah"

All of them are familiar with the public playground just a short walk away from the Lodge.

"Especially not at night!"

"Playground at night? Sure... no little kids, but.. but a good place to go. Okay."

"We know it okay, he doesn't. There's places to climb, to hide in...there's even that little footbridge, you know?"

“Troll going to brood at the bridge...” he muffles a snicker.

"Heh. Yeah."

A grin from Siv

"Okay, so...wait, is she running away from us because we pretend-reject her, or is she running away from us because she wants to keep us safe? I mean, how do we...act?"

"If we fight, you'd be less likely to follow me."

"Yeah." A frown. "We'll still need to get in places though, to help when the bugs show up."

“Maybe the rabbit can keep watch, and warn us when something starts getting close? I’ve seen him run, he’s FAST.”

"Agreed" Flopsy

"And I can fight. While you guys show up, I can fight."

"Oh, that's good, yes, Flopsy can do that. And yeah, Dagmar, I know you can...but I don't want to put you at more risk than we need to. And hey, listen...when you're fighting, you remember that you're not alone, right? We're on our way, even if it feels like it's taking forever, okay?"

Siv nods "We're here for you"

She nods. "...Yeah."

Dirk shrugs "Not me. I'm there to punch folks. but,whatevs"

"Bet you could try to eat the bugs."

“Yeah, but you’re punching the right folks for the right reason. So it’s cool.”

“Oh, wicked. Yeah! Bite me off a piece?”

“We can see if roaches really do taste like lobster.”

"Sure" He shrugs "I can eat anything"

Proudly, and now more enthused with the plan

"They're damn big, I'd like to see that..."

Siv smiles "Challenge accepted I'm think...Crap, Kerri's calling. Dinner time folks"

“Save a few steaks to toast on the camp fire.”

"Man, I'm starved... okay." She starts for the lodge.
