A snort, but she grins.

"Maybe, I was thinking, when I grow up I could be, like, a park ranger. Be outside all day."

"That's a good job." A nod "The Chieftain knows something about that line of work"

"Yeah?"

A nod "Trolls have a good tie to nature, so some of them take jobs related to it. Farmers, park rangers, vets."

"I heard that the DeBukes have an all-troll farm."

"All DeBuke AND all troll."

"Being a vet would be cool, too. I like dogs."

"Heh, well, from what I hear, the DeBukes are 45% troll, 45% Troll blooded, but also have an Eshu and maybe a few others hooked up. But yeah, that's a lotta trolls" He says . At the mention of her liking dogs, "I kind of guessed from the way they show their bellies and wagged when you show up"

"Dogs like everybody. They don't care who you are, you know?"

"They don't judge like people" He agrees

"Exactly!"

He smiles, "Sadly, you will not be able to win your teachers over to your view point with snausages"

"Damn. Some of them are real bitches, too..."

A snort and a smile escapes, "Okay. I am pretty sure I'm not supposed to encourage that"

"I won't call them that at school?"

"Because you know the hassle isn't worth the yucks" He nods "Okay okay. You caught me off guard with that one"

"I blame Vali."

A nod at that too, "Probably right on the money there. The guy's a menace. Come on, let's go inside, all this exercise and talk of porkchops and such has me hungry."

"Think Kerri left food?" She places the practice weapon back and snags the Flyswatter.

"She's pretty good about storing stuff away. Just don't the stuff with the sickly green cover, that's the sluagh guest plate"

"Oh, yuck. Yeah. Good for Symon, but nope..."

And in the two go to enjoy good NON sluagh food
