They move on, and she turns the corner CAREFULLY, peering around ot make sure it is empty, and when she finds out it is, she moves on. Here are two doors across from each other- the door to the left (This left) has the compass pointing that way, and she hears voices.

She hears a voice "Please, my hunter, they'll hurt me if you don't..."-who is this?// "Zara, I can't tell them about the farm. I can't."-Earl's voice!// A harsh whispered scream! Yet that is not Zara's voice!

She melds against the wall, the Dreaming's shadows embracing her like an old friend... and she listens.

"Ah don't much like hurting wimmen" A drawl, male voice, "But iffn' you don't want to talk, I got to feel the air somehow." //"I will KILL YOU" Earl snarlswith raw hate.//"earl, don't, please...it hurts." A female voice, but not hers. So why is he reacting like it is?

She risks closer - perhaps she can glimpse the false-Zara....

OOC: Does she open the door?

She looks for a crack, a keyhole...

A keyhole she finds ,and she sees...herself! Oh, iti s a good, almost identical impostor.. and Earl, HER Earl, lays chained against a wall, bleeding from his mouth and looking drugged.

She licks her fingertip and traces the word L-I-A-R on the wood of the door. "I name thee. Liar. Let all see that poisoned tongue...."

The alligator pooka torturing 'zara' is a liar, but on her? Oh.... she talks "please, my Herne, the farm is strong, your BeDukes will hold.." //he blinks groggily "BeDukes?" //"I am scared..." She says, but looks..less sincere. /Earl says "Zara? what's..what's going on?"

A fierce smile as the rope plays out - let the imposter hang herself.

The gator pooka seems to realize a slip was made, and he jerks the arm of 'Zara' and twists "I can make a sluagh scream ifn't you don't want to share"

A whimper, a sniveling "yes, yes, I'll be good."

Earl blinks, "Zara doesn't..." something not sitting right

She wrinkles her nose at the snivelling.

"Zara, why are you trying to trick me?" Confusion from Earl "What did they do to you to make you lie to me? Why would...no, you wouldn't."

The figure hisses "Fine. I'm lying Earl. I love you. That's a lie. I'll never join the balor...hah. this could be fun, nu?"

While the imposter and pooka are caught up in a commotion... a certain clockwork spider is sent in under the door.

And in it slips.

1122 is brave and smart - and he has a simple enough message to deliver.

Earl's drugged eyes try to find focus, and whatever he's searching for in this 'zara', he's not finding it.

And 1122 slips to him and...delivers the message

"She is outside."

Earl nods, almost thumping his chin against his chest... morse for yes.

But to the others it looks like he is nodding, "you... of course. Zara. I'll tell them of the DeBuke holding. It's...time to confess. Eveen if it will get me in trouble with our Eiluned masters." //The alligator pooka tilts his head 'Eiluned masters?"// "Yes, tell him, Earl..." The 'zara' says eyes lighting up.

1122 hides behind a horn, patient. And possibly gloating.

....likely gloating.

"Yes, we've been pretending to be a rebellious group of commoners, but the hold's flame sizee is exaggerated. We've been reporting to the Eiluned about the actions of those troll lodges for over a year... Clem's plan. She's our best spy." Earl says

Zara grins - her clever hunter!

"And your defenses?" The gator demands.

"Soveriegn wards, something no one suspects from 'a commoner hold' the Moon and Stars are very clever, yes?" He says "Just...don't hurt zara anymore."

confusion then, 'And is there a way past the wards?"

Pity the pooka - the sluagh is patient, biding her time, allowing Earl to work...

A nod "The password to lower them is Amontillado" earl says "There's really only five of there at anytime, the childlings are just chimeracal spies, not even solid to fae."

"Well, I guess your little lady lives a few more decades."

the last from the pooka.

She gathers the shadows about her - veiling again. The plan is to wait them out. Let them leave.

And...they do... the 'zara' walks out 'pushed' by the Alligator pooka. But when the door closes, her features shift...bending

The veiled sluagh glares at the pair, memorizing both of their features...

And 'zara' turns out to be a male clurichaun "Eiluned? Shit, that changes things" //The pooka says "Uh huh, Golnaz gonna love how you almost screwed it all to hell and fire.And she's real forgiving"

"Screw you" The Clurichaun says "We got what matters... we start the brainwashing later. By the time we're done that stupid troll will be worshiping Balor...or brainbroke and working a mine in the dreaming. Which ever."

"Heh. Golnaz might keep him for other things... she seems to want everything this zara has or had. Maybe he can peel grapes?"

Zara may fight a hiss, Earl is HER Harem boy, no one else's. But the two leave turning down the hallway

...patience, patience... and then it will be time to check the latch.

The latch is unlocked. Good...to the rescue!
