August realizes there's glamour about it, not just of it as a creature of the dreaming, but glamour like.. used ON it.

"An enchantment?"

Coradel's confused by this reaction, and she looks to the others. "What kind of enchantment, though?"

"A spell of some sort." Caspian says "But what sort..."

At mention of an enchantment or spell, the Deer bobs YES up and down

"Lady.... Lady? Lady, we will help you. Is there anything you can tell us about the nature of this spell?"

Coradel points to the cave entrance. "So they could hunt you?"

It's tiny tail flicks pleased at mention of lady. then it nods to Coradel

A scowl like a thundercloud settles on his features.

She frowns. "Are you a pooka?"

She shakes her head no. Though if she were a pooka, that's what she'd have to right? yet, she seems QUITE firm

Coradel has the same thought. "I'm not sure what to make of the answer, but...she doesn't feel like a pooka, somehow."

Her eyes seem quite hopeful on the two sidhe, barely paying much attention to Caspian after firstglance

She looks to the deer again. "It could be that your form has been changed, or it might merely be an illusion. Is it an illusion?"

She shakes her head no.

August considers the question. "We can't use Banality to remove the enchantment in the Dreaming. A spell laid by Leanhuan..... Hm."

"Is it permanent?" she asks the deer.

The Doe seems unsure how to answer this, but she loosk over both sidhe, checking their foreheads and symbols

August stands for inspection.

She's curious, but allows this.

A sigh at something, the knight spurs? She doesn't disdain them, but ... still sadness and she goes back to Coradel

((Oh, dammit...I should have mentioned this AGES ago.)) Coradel is wearing her Truthbranch pin...she wears it all the time now.

Her dress is a subdued red, her wrist bangles silver.

August takes a deep breath, exhales.

She kneels again, almost layingbefore Coradel

"Okay, this is one subservient doe" Caspian says

"I...I don't know what to do for you...." She goes to one knee before the doe and reaches to touch its head.

The doe sighs again, laying helpless.

"Oh..." A thought. "The enchantment...it's to remain until the hunt is finished, isn't it? Until...you are caught and killed?"

Fidget fuss.

Caspian blinks, "Wait, Coradel, what rank or title are you?"

August nods, as if the same thought has occurred to him.

"I am a Baroness, Caspian." Grasping at hope. "What option do you see?"

"You might outrank the one who cast it."

"If so, you might be able to dismiss it?"

The deer almost JUMPS at that bobbig noddding at August

August grins for the first time in a long time.

A blink. "Wait..." She turns to the doe again, and tries. "Four toes become ten, and legs are two; abandon this form, return to being you."

A collapse and the creature changes..shifting, no longer a deer... but a...

(And we switch to PBEM, 15 minutes up)
