work thing, give a mo plz

Of course

Egon strikes me as a bit hyper. Probably gets calls to home with "Your son tried to 'Atomic Judo Flip' one of his fellow students for 'funsies'?"

Egon is going to be GLOATING now, he will be even more insufferable than he was before just as a little brother!

Amity may well wish she'd just given up the bike

"We won, but... at what COST?" "Tell everyone I'm awesome" "A terrible terrible cost"

So, the bike is safe now, the Drake took a consolation prize

in case there was worry about him coming back 😉

Poor lil' guy

and 100% the victim here!

I should wait for Amity, who by now could have changed etc.

Yes, she is now wearing an evening gown

poor guy, yes!

but consider: Amity really wanted a bicycle!

She DID

And if she asked her mom for one, Mom would be sad/guilty/feel bad

Also Mom might put some solar punk frills oln it that are nice, but wouldn't be Amity's style

Glitter. Bell. Basket.

I think Amity would love whatever Mom would put, but she's been performing "Okay & happy!" for her parents

Yeah. I don't think her parents are blind to that, they're just not sure what to do about while they're hustling two and a half jobs and 3 kids

exactly!

And Amity's 10, she knows that her parents are trying/struggling

Egon might be too little yet to fully grasp it

Egon can be a bit of a space cadet. Best future fate for him? In ten years, Egon is a lovable Himbo 😉

heh

And there's only so much charity one can accept

a nocker's gotta keep her PRIDE, and they got a HOUSE for crissakes

And I think as a family they're used to second-hand and make do and improvised

IDK exactly what Dad "borrowed" from the baron, but there's a reason they didn't go to the noble freehold when they lost their home

the bike frame is not really any BETTER, but someone is saved a LOT of work in cleaning off the rust 😄

convenient!

It was, in fact, there to steal back it's bike.

It's LUNCH!

It's quite possible the pile of rust is drake doodlins

eewww

hahahaah

maybe not

you may never know!

"Les, eat this and tell us what it is."

"It's crunchy!"

Oh, my sweet summer pigeon. "The dragon is here to help" that is not an assumption most intrepid adventurers make twice

for one major reason

(burp)

Egon was in fact right 😉 it wanted it's hoard back and was ready and willing to use teeth and claw to retrieve it

Not that Amity has to ADMIT that

Certainly not! Also as a pooka it might hurt to try 😉

I am particularly pleased at the pigeon feathers all over the shed 😆

Voodoo on the Sister!

There, plot hook for future 'now Egon his caught in a tower.... of scrap' and must be saved plot 😉

I should log off. Pardon. I will trot the boy out . Thanks for letting me join in though

Must pick up friend. Zoom Hugs GOne.

seeya!
