GOtcha. Safe travel.

Checking in. Hope folks are doing okay.

It's a hellarough labor day weekend

more for family

Ugh. Sorry to hear that.

Car ride to this part of the state, could barely get here because of costs to come. Understood. A kind sister loans money so they can make it. They make it, and then.. Car goes boom

As you can imagine, the first sister who was visiting feels like the fates hate her and her wife's guts.

No! 😞

And Labor day weekend is NOT a good time to hunt for parts and a mechanic

No kidding. And there are jobs to get back to, I'm guessing.

We managed to salvage one of OUR group's cars (It lacks AC but it drives) , paid for a new battery, and they SHOULD be okay. Good vibes welcomed there

Good vibes sent!

I donated a Hundred Dollars to the cause. Not enough to do anything on its own, and I am not finacially well off myself but they needed it more than I.

And frankly I felt it was the right thing.

It's 100 they didn't have before.

I know how it is when everything goes wrong and keeps on going wrong until you feel like you're in quicksand.

Yeah. I think you did the right thing, indeed.

I told her we had been in bad situations in the past as a group of friends so we got it, we really did.

And that we ALSO had gotten help from each other and family.

They're good kids, well, in their 30s now. God I'm old.

She probably is going to feel guilty for a while, though.

You're old?!

Pffft!

I told her if she wanted to pay me back one day that's fine, it's fine if she doesn't. And it's fine if she one days pays it forward to someone neither of us have yet met.

Heh. reverts to a toddler in your presence

The pay-it-forward thing is always a good option to give people.

And it ALWAYS seems to come up in life.

It's like, you don't owe me anything, but you owe the world to be decent, sooo.....

It might be a decade or more, but the chance arises.

Yup.

How are you?

Head ache. 😞

I shan't pester you for gaming then.

I've been getting them more days than not recently. Don't like.

Mmm any chance it is Sinus related? Changing season or some such?

Probably. Actually, that makes a lot of sense, but since it isn't my nose that's hurting, I never seem to make the connection. eye roll

I have tried a walzyr now and then (Can't over do it) and gotten some relief from such. It's a theory anyway from an amateur. 🙂

A what-now?

A dabbler, a layman, a dilettante, a jackass of all trades, a master of none 🙂

I looked up Walzyr. Hadn't heard of that before, but good to know!

Just make sure you don't have the 'do not use in case of' conditions. Side effects may include COmmercial lists 30 things AND Death here

All listed breathlessly and too fast to understand.

Honestly, the stuff after "And Death" Amuses me in a dark humor way. Somewhere out there there's a guy about to buy meds scoffing at "And Death" but then it mentions "Genital Shrinkage" and he's like "NOPE!"

Sadly, that's far too likely true.

Enough to make a note on the percentages 😉

And yes, they do try to rush them by in a breathy swift voice and the subtitles read like the flash was running a thumb over it.

Rae!
