The other day the latter had the german version of total eclipse of the heart which is from a gloriously terrible musical called dance of the vampire

the comments were hilarious because they were all like "Uhhhhhhhh, isn't this an 80s song?"

I swear Eurovision is where Toreador go to mock their sires

but, like, the song was written for the ridiculous musical concept, but the musical didn't happen until decades later
