seriously though, Loved the musical. The staging and ... I'm not sure if that's the right term, but the live action editing using the lighting as freeze frame moments ? It was top notch. The music had a bluesy touch in some parts to my ear but I'm not an expert and am not sure I'm labeling it right. The chemistry between the three brothers actually DOES make me want to read the book. Darrel has Troll (Perhaps Boggan) written all over him, Sodapop is the WIse Fool Pooka, and Ponyboy? Might be a Satyr with a poet's heart or a boggan. (He's the one I have the hardest time placing kith wise 😉 )

Favorite song is PROBABLY "Stay Gold"

We did have a real life event in the last part of the s how, there was a medical incident on the other side of the audience. They had to pause the last two songs while someone got help.

Me too. the folks at the stage were professional.

They said "Hold please" closed curtains everyone stayed mostly put, and I couldn't see details but help was gotten and we had a ten minute pause, then started up again with the song begining at the start of the scene.
