Sorry I missed you, Mr. D. I'll probably be on several times today.

The new ICE shooting is...I dunno, just unthinkable. There's no way they can say "We're not anything like the Gestapo." They are, in all ways, the Gestapo.

I did want to share some good news, but it feels pretty trivial right now: my dissertation research is finally moving forward. I've got a number of volunteers interested in participating, and the first two have signed off on the informed consent document, so actual data collection has already begun. Finally.

Gonna get some stuff done, be back a bit later.
