I survived a hellish cold/flu/ick this past weekend, and I feel MUCH better.

laughing at squash lyrics I used to live in a rural area where every summer I'd head out for work only to discover a bag of squash hanging from the doorknob, left there in the night. The squash fairies visited often.

One of my favorite anecdotes is about some folks grew Zucchini. Well, they had too much. So they put it out on a wooden chair in the front yard hoping folks would take the excess. Nothing. Then, they thought 'maybe folks think we're charging for it?" so on a sign on the chair with the Zucchini the put a sign that said 'Free'. The next time they checked... someone had taken the chair, and left the Zucchini 😄

Ha! Yeah, I remember in the Witches of Eastwick movie when one of the women was forced to go to extremes and make peanut butter and (zucchini) jelly sandwiches for her kids, just to combat the abundance.

HAH! I forgot about that.

I am not a fan of squash but I get the feeling if famine hit the land and I had some space I might survive.

I don't like it fried or raw, but it can be awesome when grilled or roasted, depending on seasoning. But yeah, I don't much like summer squash. Too close to cucumber. Bleh.

Now WINTER squash, that's a different story!

Grilled might work. nod Gaming is once more at a standstill, time has frozen, the pages do not turn. Crisis!

Well, about 2 weeks ago there was supposed to be another sidhe arriving around ER. Other stuff is more 'ready to wing it' I'll assume Sylvi had a nice talk with Baron K. And Rowan is doing well. Kerri got Olgar to wash his dog.
