I suppose it's a good reminder that I made the right choice to stay with New Camp, and any nostalgia or missing of the friendship is probably misplaced sentiment

It does suck that other folks are also a casualty here, because they don't want to risk bringing down the wrath of Gwen

My sympathies to them as well, but yeah, some folks are petty vicious and have just enough influence to play tyrant games.

I have lots of friends, but very few friends in close distance

Well, just an online friend talking here, but you seem super cool, intelligent, interesting and fun to know. I am more cultured thanks to you and actually notice stuff in movie and live musical wardrobes I used to take for granted.

Mind you, I still can be a plebeian barbarian at times. Ketchup on Spaghetti etc :)
