Aunt went into the hospital a month ago. From hospital to rehab. Mom had been taking care of aunt's dog.

Dog refused to eat, it's been a real struggle. Mom tried wet food, gravy, chicken, everything.

Dog declined very fast today, and Mom took him to the emergency vet in Pittsburgh

Teddy died on the table, and Mom is blaming herself

I'm so sorry for everyone involved. Your mom must be distraught

I swear, it's like the dog grieved himself to death

we're probably another two three weeks until Jean can leave rehab

and mom is devastated, yeah

And I think she feels guilty because she was frustrated with Teddy for not eating, and for not being able to coax him into it. She really tried everything to get him to eat.

How is your Aunt taking the news?

The acting all over was good but he was one of hte stand outs
