Good morning Shady!

Having a rough morning! Bailey is sick the last couple days, and had a #2 accident on the floor, and vomited on the floor, AND massively on the couch, so at 5am I was cleaning the floor and at 8am I was soaking couch cushions...

Max had a big poop this morning and needed a bath, then pooped in the bath, then peed on Gyrf when he got out of the bath...

Running Bailey to the vet shortly for x-rays to rule out eating something inappropriate

Oh geez. Sympathies, rae. Poor Bailey

$1000 in and diagnosis so far is “upset tummy”

No worries! I tried to catch up on a couple of the rooms just now.

How goes?

Well, not feeling great lately, kind of wobbly on and of, not too badly mind. On the plus side, Rae was nice enough to game Catnik and I the other day.

I saw that! Good stuff, though I only covered part of it.

I've still been getting over this damn cold, wondering now whether it was really something more than a cold. Also trying to get my students through their final big grade project of the year, and they are NOT MAKING IT EASY.

Oh dear. They're amuck?

They passed amuck about amonth back.

But they do seem to have realized that, no, they won't just get moved up a grade just because the year ended -- they actually have to Do The Work to Earn The Credits.

So they're all panicking.

Oy. Common Wisdom : "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink." Society: "Hey teachers, THIS is your job description."

Are any self aware enough to realize that was on them?

Most are getting there. There are some who remain stubbornly defiant and willfully ignorant.

They're doing better than I did at that age possibly.

I was actually impressed by how maturely some of them were focusing on their projects in the face of a final deadline and a dubious end-of-year average.
