Over a year ago; not in the cards right now.

But, I -am- trying to make time for a 20-30 minute walk outside every day and the pool is closer to finsihed than ever.

A little glitch with the rain gutter placement but the pool-hole, paver deck, and screen enclosure are done. Next step, I think, is to finish the interior of the pool and some electrical work.

I'm ignorant of such things -- how does a rain gutter factor into pool installation?

Well, we're in Florida. I think the FIRST improvement we made to the house was adding rain gutters. The pool is build onto the back of the house, so they had to rework the gutters to add the screen enclosure. But when they made the gutters/drain spouts good, they ended up routing the water on the ground across/over the existing patio door.

Whoops! Well, that makes more sense for how the rain gutters got involved. Are they coming back to fix it?

I just sent a message via the construction website with those photos to ask if we can talk about adjusting things.

I hope they respond quickly and satisfactorily.

They have a really good rep in the area and have been great so far with only one significant failure.

I have asked repeatedly on several levels to have the workers let me know when they THINK they will arrive and when they depart. That hasn't happened with much regularity. It's frustrating.

But, at this point.... just get it done.

BUT on the topic of self-care, one reason I went with these guys is that they offer this system, standard:

Oh, that's cool! So, the sockets are just built into the pool, and you can figure out what to put in them?

Pretty much? IIRC, we're getting a set of resistance bands with the anchors attached and then we can set up whatever configuration we want.

So when the pool is done, I can add that to my exercising.

Neat! And then you can get the family in there to play volleyball with the net equipment.
