Reminds me of some Gambit Rogue fan fic I read years ago. This was before they were married. Gambit gets captured by a crime boss, rogue goes about looking for ways to track him (Cerebro and other resources not available)... by the time he's gotten there, she finds Gambit tried to 'escape' by seducing the crimeboss' wife AND his mistress. The crimeboss is furious, and Rogue is relieved she got there in time, but also annoyed with Remy
