I did not. I Honestly was turned off by what I heard about it.

It's okay. But it's not Star Trek.

Most of the recent Star Trek stuff has been trying to hard to look and feel like Star Wars.

Yeah. That's what i heard... that it was okay for a generic space heist kind of thing, but even by those standards not really GREAT. So I was going to pass as I'm really tired of Star Trek Dystopa

I think Lower Decks made the right choice, though, to end with a solid finale rather than stay around long enough to get stale.

I suppose they COULD make 'Upper Decks' 😉

Never saw The Orville, but heard good things.

I strongly recommend The Orville. Ranks with Galaxy Quest as a love letter to ST.

and SNW "feels" like Trek, unlike a lot of the other new ones

I love the orville, got better each season imo

And Ortegas is one of my favs too! She's just easy to like. Mind you, Nurse Chapel probably gets the 'most fleshed out character' award and I approve of what the writers and actress are doing with her

Rahne, Orville starts out a touch crude and juvenile... but with heart. Episodes go on, it stays funny but also tackles more serious stuff, and yhou can tell it's a love letter to TNG.
