Cold. It almost hit freezing today

It's definitely freezing here. I brought several armloads of wood in from the pile to put on the enclosed porch. Probably will have a fireplace fire tonight.

Our oldest cat, who has been dealing with skin/hair issues the past month, now has a cold. She's been sleeping on the bed all day, and she's squeaking slightly when she snores.

Poor thing

Yeah. She looks frail and weak. But honestly, she looks better now than she did a couple of weeks ago.

Well, that's good progress. I'm a bit worried about my Housemate's gerbils, they've been hiding in the straw and suc hand it has me worried one is in bad health or somehow escaped

You mean, one might be AWOL, but you can't tell because of the straw?

We do have two cats, but they're outside the door. Unless a gerbil got out of that room where they are... then..well, we have a problem. The cats went nuts when that bird got it
