I was cleaning a baby cup that has a straw with resistance so you can't slurp too much at once, and you have to use a little brush to clean it out. I dipped the brush into the soap and scrubbed the straw, then ran water through as best I could. Then I slurped some water through to make sure it was clean.

IT WAS NOT and I got a throatful of caustic soap - I had used the concentrate and not the normal dish soap

The roasted carrots and parsnips and the mashed potatoes and the roasted Brussel sprouts are done. The turkey is flipped in the brine. I bought the desserts so I just have to bake the pumpkin pie and warm the apple pie. The green beans are cooked but I still have to make the mushroom cream sauce and assemble the casserole. The sweet potatoes are cooked, need to be made into wee casseroles but that's just a matter of mixing things together and banging them into oven. The dressing and corn pudding are mix-and-heat easy, as is the cranberry sauce. And done!

Oh, and I'll make a gravy but that's nothing until the turkey's cooked. Also have a ham to heat in due course. Thanks to Thing1 who did a TON of prep and even cooking/fixing/making/cleaning, we're in GREAT shape.
