All is well. A tornado warning, we were ready to SiP. Dinner was AWESOME; bacon cheese burgers w/fixin's, french fries, and a roasted carrot & sweet potato mix w/honey & cinnamon.

We have only once managed to fall ill simultaneously. That was an absurd weekend where we just camped out on the couches and fell asleep with the TV going, crackers and juice and water within reach.

I'm having trouble understanding whether the storm is sill approaching you or past you. My Florida geography isn't solid.

It is hard to get more in the middle of Florida in every direction than where we are.

3 hours drive north or south gets you to the edge of Florida in those directions, 2 hours west or east... same thing.

Yep. It's going to go over the top of us, or maybe just to the south of us. Still super hard to predict.

We have at least three days of water available, more than three days of food (to include tomorrow's dinner all cooked and waiting a reheat), we have all our camping gear in the house for easy use and all the metal interlocking shutters down. The garage is locked, cars inside.

Oh, I have no fear of you being underprepared. I've known you too long!

We are supposed to go to our annual Sooper Sekrit pagan event this weekend. And we're supposed to be camping. And we're nowhere near ready, and in various stages of illness. This is going to be a challenge.

Honestly, only good news I got is that nature finally is thinking of changing leaf colors here. On the back deck, was a small leaf, brown on the back side, but glorious crimson on the front. I think Nature was trying to say 'I know things are nuts now, but I'm trying. Here's a gift'
