Wow. I gotta say, even though there's A LOT OF KALE .... this meal plan has some bangin' food. Tonight was flank steak w/tomato salad. I added Italian bread & green peas w/butter for the boys, and did a pan sauce for fun. It was GOOD.

I've also noticed (no surprise to Cat I'm sure) that even if I make the meal and think it's going to be skimpy and leave me hungry.... I eat it all and I'm nicely full. There's that fiber for ya.

Kale is 100% brassica. The boys didn't get spinach so I have kale. BUT tomorrow I have a kale-break; yogurt instead.

The meal plan has me eating plain Greek yogurt; not vanilla. PLAIN. Screw that; I'll take the caloric hit for a lil bit of honey and vanilla extract. Also, adding in the fruit I'm allowed for a snack into the sweetened yogurt. THAT actually makes it pretty damn good!

Yup. 2 acres is a bit small -- they'd get crowded by neighbors quickly as the land got developed, and have to move again. But in our version of the world, they can get all the land on that point...probably a good 15 acres or more.

I can't quite Brekke today, though.

Was I was right that Frank and Brekke would prefer to make their own house? Or are they willing to buy one already made by others like normal people 😉

Oh, I think they both aspire to building their own, but possibly with help from local fae craftspeople. Hiring local is a good way to be good new neighbors.

Honestly...and correct me if I'm wrong, Shady...I think that while the bay view is pretty, they'd both rather be more inland. It's more practical, less expensive, and less likely to be surrounded by tourists.
