How are we all?

being lazy

I realized that the apples I got last week were beginning to be past-prime, so I learned how to make apple turnovers! Nom!

Also: dishes, laundry, slight shopping

I should get to the grocery store today

I am out of strawberries

Mind you, I made more cleaning necessary with the baking.

My weekend has been a ton of gettin' it done; round 1 of grocery shopping yesterday, round 2 today. House clean. Laundry done. Cook-ahead done. Thing2 costumed and out the door, back again. Light cooking in today's forecast as well.

Made a nice dessert for the fam tonight; I figured tomorrow's Monday and a little something sweet can help ease that sting. Also, they've been eating my meal plan dinners so.......

Apple pie cookies, crushed in the bottom of the glass. Scoop of caramel apple pie ice cream. Scoopy of cinnamon apple ice cream. Salted caramel apple sauce. Whipped cream (not on DH's). A light sprinkle of cookie crumbs and spiced cider mix on the whipped cream. Serve with TALL spoon.

I -did- treat myself to .5 cup of Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream but I had the calories left today for it and tomorrow IS Monday.
