I -actually- had the thought, while watching clips and pieces of the DNC "... maybe -this- Democratic party is one I could get behind, support, and/or join."

I think it is dangerous that we might get too complacent. I remember when in 2016 all the polls but one were like "no way Trump can win" and the DNC was doing victory laps until the vote count started rolling in.

Yeah, hopefully we all remember that and take action accordingly. I know -I- am voting, and taking Thing1 for his first time.

And I think some issues are on the Florida ballot?

Either way, however he votes, good on him for taking it seriously.
