Housemate woke up in intense pain early this morning. 13mm kidney stone. Hospital checked it out, said it needed surgery... but.. NOT today. They gave her a stint surgery instead because I guess they couldn't do the big one? Odd

JEEZ!!! Tell her (we) hope she's feeling better and gets it taken care of properly SOON.

She's a bit miffed that they have time to put in a stint but couldn't remove the kidney stone.

(Edit, had to add 'stone' removing the kidney would be a whole different thing)

Pretty much -always- the reason I'll vanish, unless it's after 10pm in which case I just fell asleep.

Oh, NBD, Mr. D.

We had a store-bought packaged pastry type thing leftover; a strawberry & cream jellyroll cakelet. Warmed that up, cut in half and put each half in the sundae cup at the bottom.
Lil whipped cream on top of that.
Healthy scoop of vanilla ice cream on that.
Warm strawberry preserves on the ice cream.
Whipped cream on that.
Dust with Nesquik Strawberry powder and serve.

Okay. I just ate and I STILL want one. NICE

Thing2 tried three times to pass his end of course test for his driving permit and didn't make it. Seems like it was an issue of not managing his time well; letting the screen timeout, not moving the mouse for too long, there was a bathroom break that took a while....

Mind you, I think MOST of that was related to doing other things on other screens while trying to take the test, sooo....
