As you may have saw from left over postings here, we'll be moving forward on the time line. So it is possible the babies are going to get biiig as months have shot by. Okay. I'm currently listening to a book (An Alchemy of Masques and Mirrors by Curtis Craddock) that was said to be Steampunk Dumasian, and I think Zara would approve of the lady protagonist. In this setting, a woman is not supposed to be involved in Academia directly, so she takes up a pen name for herself and pretends to be her own patron.

The co protagonist is an older musketeer who is more a father to her than anyone else alive, and he's a bullshit artist extrodinaire

Apparently she lacks the magic gift of her family and thus is 'unhallowed', and her deformity is seen as devil sent. Some guy later in the book tells her she's surprisingly smart (she normally has to hide her education) and that it is a pity she wasn't born a man. She snarks something about "I already have a deformed hand and am considered unhallowed, I think if I were born male that would be one more handicap than I could handle' (Not exact quote). Guess she had enough at that point

Sure. Mixed reviews is what I heard too so my expectations are kind of low

*hugs * So far, quirky, too much CGI, but fun fight scenes. Interesting twist I'm not sure if I like or not.

Okay, much longer than it needed to be. A bit of trimming would help the movie imo. It was WAY over the top, which some may love, some will hate. I think a 5.5 out of 10.
