Oh, what's for dinner?

Roasted chicken and a loaf of Italian bread from the grocery store, and from scratch; roasted ginger honey carrots, balsamic/brown sugar zucchini and onions, and roasted asparagus w/butter & lemon. Plus a plate of fresh tomato slices and mini Persian cucumbers.

But it WAS fresh and tasty. We've been on leftovers for a few days and needed a break.

They're good. Today was a long catio day. Last week I noticed Jewel limping on her front left foot/leg. I checked her out closely; no injury, swelling, no response to handling, her engagement and energy were good, she was eating and drinking... and limping. We kept her closer to the kennel, encouraged rest, gave her a warm bath..... and it cleared up on its own.

Yes, what things?

Yes. The limp -did- resurface briefly in the morning when I called her to take her medicine. She came to the kitchen with her head down, limping pathetically, plopped her butt down and looked up at me mournfully. Figures, I get a dog who's an actress.

Our pets, well, MoMo is sassier than she was when she came here. Which is good in some ways. Eve found a wasp (It's gone), and Dee is... stealthing somewhere

And the five gerbils appear to be settled in. I can't remember all their names
