There have been studies that indicate they have sets of sounds they use only with specific individual humans. Like.... this is my mommy voice, this is my daddy talk, this is little-human speak....

My dinner kinda ran away with itself.

I should also have some protein though

It started as a tagine-style chicken... and then I added couscous 'cause you need some carb/grain. And I realized that some fresh veg would be nice on the side and we HAVE Persian cukes so I cut those up along with some tomato. And we have pita and hummus and kalamata olives and that pretty much begs to be included. And we want a sweet option and we have dates and figs and almonds and pistachios....

And along as we're at that point, I made mint tea with fresh mint from the yard and a pomegranate/club soda/simple syrup drink for those as wanted it.

Cat - milk has protein!

Or pick up some protein cereal for those times. Or include a piece of cheese!

Yoplait and Okkos(?) are making a protein+ yogurt these days. Low sugar, high protein, and it tastes, pretty good.

I want my little pod of fristed flakes which are bad for me but oh so tasty

I made a LOT of food today, for the week. Small blueberry smoothies, watermelon aqua fresca, a strawberry french toast bake, and that dinner.

Tomorrow for breakfast I'm going to have one of those yogurts and a raisin bran muffin!

Yeah, unfortunately it looks a little.... gray? Probably due to the spinach in it. And it's going to be more of a spoon-job than a straw due to the chia seed in it. But... healthy and filling? And HOPEFULLY it tastes good?
