Hands of blue, two by two

Did some work today, got Thing1 to the doc, got everyone Greek for dinner and a few bits of groceries, and home.

I've never had much Greek food. What did you have?

Gyros for three of us, the daily special of Lemon chicken and Greek potatoes for DH. An app platter and salad to split four ways, and there's a wee bit of dessert to have.

That sounds nice!

It was. I could only eat half my gyro, though. We had two lamb and one chicken.

I really need to try one sometime

I haven't had a gyro in a very long time. I recall not really liking the sauce very much, but I might try one again.

Well, Rahne, to update you, Rae and her crew have the Flu. Catnik loves us, but is swamped, and Shady can tell you of her own challenges

Oh it hasn't been all that much, just steadily busy. A bridge fell down. I had an off-site meeting with the division. My boss's boss left the organization. I'm going to the golf ball park with my brother tomorrow.

That bridge collapse was pretty horrifying.

Does the boss leaving unsettle your workplace.

Well sure, plenty of people were unsettled and updating resumes just in case but so far it's business as usual.

Well, I hope the biggest disruption you experience is a promotion and increased pay. 🙂

I would suggest gaming, but I don't think I have more than fifteen minutes left on these eyes tonight. I can endeavor to be on earlier tomorrow.
