We just watched the Netflix live action for A:tLA. Really good! Faithful to the original.

I'm very happy with it so far.

Notably, the first three episodes of the first season were always the ones I found most tedious, and that's roughly the same territory covered here -- but I actually feel like this version did those better.

I don't see it as wooden, but I do think they're still figuring out the characters -- which is exactly the same situation as the first few episodes of the original.
