I’m disappointed in my boss. For countless years I’ve sent goodies to everyone on their birthday, generally donuts. And every year, he forgets my birthday. Sigh.
This year I asked a closer coworker to discretely remind him, in the holes that he’d send me something. Alas - I got a shoutout in the General slack channel, and then a DM saying “hey, I gave you a birthday shoutout, if you missed it in the general Chanel”
