DS 9 is so full of characters I like it's easier to answer who I like least.

Honestly, they could have had hear leading away teams on Bajor to investigate a jungle contaminated by Cardaisian scientiests. They should have had a plant life intelligent species come through the worm hole.. etc

Though oddly, my favorite Klingon period is Martok

Martok is pretty amazing, especially later on.

And oddly, a romantic!
