I'm reminded of a fantasy novel where our hero of the last series, rescuer of the world and chosen one, now a King, has something of a brain dump because he's freaking out that his wife is having a baby. His Aunt and Midwife gives him an axe ,and tells him to chop wood for the fire. After explaining to him that logs are better than furniture, he goes outside and begins to chop wood where he can do no harm and the Aunt can get back to midwifing in peace. Mean, but funny

I've seenthat joke before... like, "why do they send the husband to boil water? To get the husband out of the way" 😄

Now they let the guy hold the camera while the baby is about to be born, Can you imagine the nightmare of a perfectionist husband trying to film? "Honey, you look like you're in pain or at least discomfort but this is supposed to be a joyous occasion. Now, happier expressions, once more, from the top"
