the sofa won't hate you and threaten to disembowel you

And any scratches or punctures you get from the sofa are less likely to get immediately infected.

Hubby and I finally went to see the Barbie movie. OMG, that was AMAZING!

I'd heard a lot of the hype/controversy, but none of it did the movie justice.

From what I understand, depending on how you look at it, it suggests that sexism against men is ALSO bad. So I'm not sure what the growling is about.

Well, I can see how some people think it paints men as the enemy, but that's not quite it -- it paints patriarchy as the enemy regardless of your gender because patriarchy forces narrow definitions of what's acceptable and normal.

Well, I'm sure I'll see it eventually 🙂 My personal interest right now is leaning towards Blue Beetle. DC's last pass for victory this year. Good luck to it
