I keep trying to get some writing done and my mind drifts

I am LESS tired?

Pretty much the same here.

busy work today

and then more work on the wall after work. Things I have learned in this process:
• How to pry stonework from a wall
• How to hang drywall
• How to wire a new light fixture
• How to add outlet extenders when they don't sit flush on the wall
• How to hang drywall, mud and sand
And the most important take away
• next time, just shell out the $$ to have it professionally done 😅

we have another probably 3 days of sanding, cleaning, mudding the wall, letting it dry, repeat. And for every sanding step we need to strap down and cover the entire room and still deal with clouds of drywall dust and then cleaning

A professional could have probably knocked it out in a weekend

The television stand, which I thought would take about 15 minutes to put together, demanded more like a couple of hours.

I see.

But it's together now.
