WFH today. First day of school here, I got up with the boys and it was just NOT enough sleep so with permission from BossLady I basically slept instead of commuting.

Poor Thing2.... his first day of HS was ROUGH.

Managed to lose his phone at school and left his school laptop on the bus.

On top of all the "first day in a new school meeting new people and getting lost and finding someone to eat lunch with and not finding your bus to get home" that is the usual.

Oh no. He got the laptop back though?

He'll get both phone and laptop back tomorrow at school. I made the calls & emails and got them both secured.

He literally crawled into my lap for a bit earlier. Then he had to make dinner.

Poor guy.

Well, dinner is the price of him having a phone; it's how he pays his bill. Thing1 cleans the cat box.

But year; not a great first day of HS.
