"Reassigned" means scheduled them to hours that don't provide a living wage. Plus, not hiring new ones when these ones quit.

Now, I am in favor of the scan-and-go options, where you come to the register with everything you bought on your phone and they scan a code to check out everything you scanned. That makes the cashier's jobs easier and faster. But it doesn't replace them.
