Hey, @gyrf? There used to be a function where you could direct message yourself to keep notes and such, but I don’t see it anymore. Is it still available?

@robinrahne that’s more of a slack thing, but I can take a look.

wow, it’s like they made that difficult intentionally. it looks like you need to do this: (at least on a mac, but the slack app is built in Electron, and Electron is basically just a copy of chrome with a built-in web page and just enough magic to mimic an app. if you’re using slack in your browser or on mobile, it could work just like this. but it probably won’t.)

1. click on “Direct Messages” in the top section of the sidebar.

2. click on the other, more different “Direct Messages” with the little triangle icon in the middle section of the sidebar.

3. finally, click on yourself in the bottom section of the sidebar.

hopefully it works for you on whatever you’re using to access slack. if not, let me know what flavor of access you use, and i’ll see what i can figure out.
