We did Mass (with a sullen teen) and then came home to beef stew and French bread. Trimmed tree, cookies & cocoa, picked up a little, and now we all relax.

We had a good cooking sesh in the morning, got all the prep-cooking done. Tomorrow is just the proteins and fruit salad., and finishing the sides.

I prepped three different cookie doughs, finished the decorating, did some last minute shopping, baked all the cookies, made dinner, and wrapped All The Things. I have now taken ibuprofen and am in bed. 🙂

Honestly it was Part Die Hard, part home alone, and part Hall mark movie. I did not see THAT combo working

Hey, Thing1 is all icky with a head cold, Thing2 is -trying- to help out, it's Christmas Eve, we've done several loads in the dishwasher and the food is prepped and the tree is trimmed.... if that's not a time for cocoa, when is?
