OH... yes. I love this job. Writing a piece now that grew legs. Started as a haz-mat 'bring it from home' piece that became about saving gorillas and supplying pet shelters with hobbies.....

I mean to say, the pet shelters get supplies through hobbies.

I DID! I drove it to take Thing2 to RE and some errands and home.

Got to show DH how to start to use Android Auto.

What's that?

So the cars they make these days, you can plug your phone in via cable and the 'hey google' feature works; you can say "Hey Google..." and it will chime at you, and you can ask it questions and it will try to find answers.
It will bring up a map function and you can tell it to show you how to get places and it will give you turn-by-turn directions if you like, or just show you the route.
You can tell it to text or call people and it will.

Oh, yeah, I can connect my phone to the car with BlueTooth. I didn't realize that was what you meant. 🙂

I love being able to answer the phone by pushing a button on the steering wheel, and hear the other person through the radio speakers.

It has bluetooth also; Android Auto is a different thing.

It does More.

Ahhh.

Now BOTH our cars can do Android Auto.

I spend a few evenings a week with Thing2 in the car and at his request we downloaded A Study In Scarlet from Hoopla and we are listening to that.
