I'm going to WFH tomorrow b/c the school decided, to make up for last time due to Ian, to rescind the student holiday scheduled for tomorrow, and hold school in session.

However, they forgot to make sure they had the bus drivers to get the kids to and from school when they announced the change.

So THIS EVENING they called to say please be patient, buses may be late, drivers making more than a few runs to pick kids up (and get them home, presumably) if you can please bring your kids to school.

So I'm driving the kids in the a.m. and working from home, then getting them from school. Thing 2 has to be at a camping trip pick-up in the evening and Thing 1 is going for his flu/C19 vax second attempt.

Wow. So your busy day is rewarded with another busy day

I mean... the announcement about school being in session came out a while ago; some people had made plans but there was time to change or adjust them. But transportation not being thought about????
