The gaming cafe finally opened up in town. I looked at their online site. The say what drinks they have, but not the prices. And they're charging $5-$10 to use their gaming library. I mean, I get it, they need to make money, but...well, a little disappointing.

Yeah, it can be tough to work out the model

ours charges for table-time, iirc, but not the library

$10 per whole visit doesn't seem too bad

I'm tempted to just hang out there as a grading spot, but if the cost is basically a door fee, then that undermines that.

Awwww! That's a sweet scene. And earlier, I like the idea of Pennons at Silverwolf. It makes sense. The theme would be a strong draw for Brekke, but arguably she would be expected to remain within county for the holiday.

She might get a chance to do both if they space out the dates

Overnight at the museum, just got back.

Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Tampa. 2 hr drive one-way; road trip with the Things!

I came prepared but as it turned out there was ONE COUCH in the place and I scored it to sleep so....

Lucky!

It was a blessing; I had a cot, air mattress, sleeping bag, sleep sac and pillow too but... less fuss to get the couch.

Yeah, the shutters make a huge difference, confidence-wise.

Fortunately my family on Nova Scotia did okay.

Hurricanes hitting that far up north and there are still climate change deniers. mmph
