I am trying to cut down on my portions this week. Not easy. And I think it's made me cranky this past week

I measure almost all my food these days

Drink water. Half the time what we think is hunger is actually dehydration. Before you eat anything, drink 8 oz of water. It'll be easier to cut the portions then.

Yeah. Problem there is.. I really don't enjoy water. Though I have been switching more and more to seltzer/carbonated water

Plain water is best for health, but I get it.

Walmart Great Value ones taste good too, for half the cost

I find that even if I don't want it, it's a relief after I drink it.

One thing i've also discovered.. I like water better the colder it is. Not alone in that, I'm sure.

Oh, that's absolutely the case, yes! So a steady supply of ice cubes is helpful.

I have god neices who like their soda without ice and room temp and I just shudder

Sometimes I do get nostalgic for family shopping trips to Costco. Mostly for those big flats of muffins they sold. Those were AMAZING.

I've been to a costco once

it was fun

My ex-husband and I used to go there for our shopping as much as possible.
