Well, school admin still hasn't confirmed my schedule for the year. And SCA-wise, my shire hasn't put on an event since before COVID, and we were supposed to host a solar (like a craft day) next month, but our current seneschal is next to worthless and never got it on the EK event list, and there's now 7 competing events for the same day, including 2 within easy driving distance.

I'm just so over this shire. Our dance practices are about the only thing that's been happening semi-regularly, and for the last three of those I'm the only one who has actually shown up!

UGH. Yeah, that's cranky-making. Your school district sounds like this one....

It's the district if they're not willing to pay teachers enough that they're willing to work there.
