There's some stuff I like about C20 crafting rules

but they did nerf some things that were already underpowered

Infusion is supposedly developed by Nockers, for Nockers. Possibly the realm requirements are lessened for Nockers alone. I would see allowing for the NON-Fae realm related (prop for a weapon, etc) to be taken into account instead of just Fae 5 because you're working with Chimera.

That seems sensible

and I think the basic IDEA of Infusion is interesting, if the mechanics need work

And we'll just ex out the part about FUBARs being Enslaved as batteries. Perhaps there is a portion of work that draws forth the right kind of chimera or chimerical energy that WANTS to flow in that pattern. Of course, the unsavory COULD enslave any, but that's not the norm.
