In Piper's defense, cats ARE generally a bad idea around this kind of equipment 😄 My friend who is super into music (has some dozens of guitars, stacks of amps, etc) has resigned himself to having amps that are torn up and cables that just... sometimes are damanged

I was hit up by Roo that last night, out of the blue, Lex started a Firnost revival on discord. She related - It's set present day, so you can use old characters who might have survived through to now, reboot a character, or reincarnate one (I'm playing Desdaemona's next incarnation, since she'd be a Wilder by now), or someone totally new.

Just to avoid any potential drama I checked with Lex just to ensure that it was okay to invite the crew here (never know who has bad blood) and as I expected, we're all welcome. With a gentle ask to not invite Anna, as Jer... wore out her gaming welcome, though she is a perfectly nice human.

Thoughts?

Since Firnost as a social hub isn't really an active part of what we do here, it doesn't seem like any competition 😄 I joined just to see what was going on and to chat

Well, not bad to have firnost as a satellite

And Anna seems... very happy with her mage game

Good for her! I know little/nothing about Mage 🙂

Last I saw, she had Luke (her satyr) there.

There was a HUGE ic blowup between Luke & Sparrow over the mages

And some... fundamental difference in our ideas of how Changeling worked which were exposed

And one of that crew was a dick to me

but that said, it will be fun to talk to those people again, possibly play some Firnost asides there (either with old characters who didn't make it here, new characters there, or maybe some cross-over if their worldview doesn't fight with ours)
