They shut us down today. The Middle School, too. Like, totally closed, not even virtual instruction. So... shrug

That's just for today, as far as I know. But I'm looking at my lesson plans and at my curriculum and just...throwing my hands in the air.

Because now you have to condense things or at least re arrange

Yup. I mean, thank goodness my 11th graders finally got through The Crucible...but trying to get them to write more than one evidence-based paragraph is going to be impossible because WE'VE GOT TO MOVE ON.

The threat specifies Feb 22 and 23. I'm willing to bet that they're going to give the all-clear for the 24th even if nothing has changed, because well-the-threat-wasn't-for-TODAY.

Yeah, I'm sure the kid's forgotten ALLLLL about it.

The message I got said there will be "additional security measures in place" when we return. We haven't been told what those will be. It'll probably amount to the security guards yelling "Get to class, get out of the halls!" still, but only louder now.
