Since I was out and about today doing the MANY things, I thought, since it was on the way home, why not stop and have a late lunch? Boys won't care and I will have enjoyed it.

So, I went that way home.

Now, this used to be a VERY BAD Chinese buffet place. Like.... stains on the wall, hope you don't end up in the hospital bad.

I was very pleasantly relieved to find the interior was redecorated and apparently clean.

TWO Capt. Jack Sparrow statues were a bit much but....

And ... really.... it looked like someone thought a sunken submarine aquarium was a good place to have a meal. Fish hanging from the ceiling. Mysterious ports along the walls saying things like "Push then pull" but.... functional? No? Who knows?? "Faux exposed and distressed metal." is a décor CHOICE.

I did not see fish advertised. Not even fish and chips. Blue Crab, yes, but it's seasonal. No fish.

So I get snow crabs and shrimp (no head - there was a menu selection with or without....) and off BJ goes, to return with questions about the seasoning. They have, essentially, butter options. "Garlic Butter Seasoning | Cajun | Garlic Butter Only | Lemon Pepper | Hungry Seasoning"

Hungry is the House blend, apparently all the rest put together. I chose Garlic Butter Seasoning.

How long have they been open? Sounds like they need to get their shit together!

(Now, the menu DOES offer other (FISH) options but I did not see them on my menu in-house.)

So... ok..... BJ takes my seasoning option and off he goes again.

He almost brings me another table's meal, but they correct him, so all is good.
